SuperShuttle

Clean Energy owns and operates a landmark fueling private station for SuperShuttle in Anaheim, California. This station dispenses more than 350,000 gallons annually and has become an industry model for station developers and operators.

Seeking to reduce costs and differentiate itself among the competition, SuperShuttle turned to natural gas vehicles. SuperShuttle has traveled 40+ million miles using CNG. SuperShuttle has always been ahead of its time — it was the first company to offer shared-ride airport service and it was the first shared-ride operator to deploy natural gas vans. Working with Boone Pickens and Andrew Littlefair, SuperShuttle was able to deploy 150 natural gas vans and fuel them at the 24-hour fueling station at LAX Airport located at Aviation and 104th St. With the lower cost of fuel, SuperShuttle was able to improve its profitability and also boost its image by the numerous awards it received over the years for its efforts in using alternative fuel vehicles. Clean Energy serves SuperShuttle’s 3 locations in Anaheim and Torrance, California, and Phoenix, Arizona.
