America’s Natural Gas Highway™ is a new network of fueling stations along major interstates that, linked together, are designed to enable freight trucking border-to-border and coast-to-coast within the continental United States when the initial backbone of approximately 150 LNG stations is completed. This coincides with the planned development and commercial availability of various heavy-duty natural gas-fueled trucks by major manufacturers, including Freightliner, Navistar, Volvo, Peterbilt and Kenworth. It also mirrors the rapidly growing commitment by trucking fleet operators and shippers across the country to adopt natural gas trucks. The result is a sound alignment of product availability by the vehicle manufacturers, fuel savings and operational efficiency for the truckers and shippers, and fuel availability from Clean Energy. Our strategic partner is Pilot Flying J, the largest truck stop operator in North America. The majority of stations will be co-located at Pilot Flying J stations, enabling fleets to use the same routes for freight movement as today. Soon, we expect that Drive American will also mean moving freight across the country using domestic natural gas fuel, which is cleaner, cheaper and more efficient than imported diesel or gasoline — and is produced here.
