Senior Network Administrator

Clean Energy, www.cleanenergyfuels.com, a national provider of fuel for natural gas vehicles seeks energetic, professional, self-starters for Senior Network Administrator Position in Seal Beach, California to provide assistance with all activities related to effective operations of company’s IT department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the design and development of new equipment and systems, and re-design existing systems to fulfill needs of internal and external customers.
  • Provide IT support for company corporate office staff including working with any outside vendors or contractors on IT related projects.
  • Provide IT support for Clean Energy’s network of fueling stations including any and all systems.
  • Install, test, and implement software updates on physical and virtual Windows servers to maximize daily system availability and performance to all internal and external employees.
  • Install and maintain server hardware components, e.g., hard disks, array controllers, fiber connections, network interfaces, keyboard and monitor switches, racks, power, storage, and all associated cabling.
  • Safeguard the company’s operating data through a formalized and documented program of security administration and data backups.
  • Serve as technical liaison and provide equipment functionality and capability reports to sales and marketing team as required.
  • Serve as a back up Help Desk support for company corporate offices as necessary.

Ideal candidate will have:

    • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
    • Minimum 5 years of network administration experience
    • Professional demeanor
    • Excellent communication skills, written and oral
    • Ability to travel within United States
    • Excellent driving record

Experience and expertise in one or more of the following:

    • Cisco (switches, routers, firewall, VPN)
    • VMware
    • Microsoft Server 2003 (XP,Vista, Active Directory, exchange, terminal servers)
    • Bluecoat SG/AV proxy units
    • Veritas Netbackup
    • Symantec Antivirus (veritas backup, Altiris helpdesk)

Service Technicians

We are actively recruiting qualified candidates for Service Technician Positions to service and maintain compressed and liquefied natural gas fueling stations including making repairs and improvements to equipment located at natural gas fueling stations. 
 
United States territory is currently available in California - San Francisco/Bay Area.
