Andrew J. Littlefair is President and Chief Executive Officer of Clean Energy, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Company. Clean Energy is the largest provider of vehicular natural gas (CNG and LNG) and related services in North America. It has a broad customer base in the refuse, transit, shuttle, taxi, police, intrastate and interstate trucking, airport and municipal fleet markets with vehicles fueling at strategic locations in the United States and Canada. Mr. Littlefair also serves as Chairman of NGVAmerica, based in Washington DC, a national organization dedicated to the development of a growing, sustainable and profitable market for vehicles powered by natural gas. Mr. Littlefair and NGVAmerica were instrumental in gaining new federal legislation to encourage the growing use of alternative fuels for transportation in America. In 2004, Mr. Littlefair was named an NGV Champion by the International Association of Natural Gas Vehicles (IANGV), reflecting his contributions to the growing industry. Previously, Mr. Littlefair served as President of Pickens Fuel Corp (PFC), predecessor company of Clean Energy, which he co-founded in 1997 with Boone Pickens. Earlier, Mr. Littlefair served as Vice President of Public Affairs at MESA Inc., one of America’s largest independent producers of natural gas. Before joining MESA in 1987, Mr. Littlefair was Staff Assistant to the President (Ronald Reagan) in the Office of Presidential Advance.

Richard R. Wheeler, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Wheeler has been the Chief Financial Officer of Clean Energy Fuels Corp. since January 2003. Prior to joining Clean Energy, Mr. Wheeler held several executive-level financial positions with various companies, including the Chief Financial Officer position for Blue Energy and Technologies, LLC, a natural gas fueling company that was acquired by Clean Energy on December 31, 2002. Prior to entering private industry, Mr. Wheeler spent eight years with Arthur Andersen LLP in its audit division. Mr. Wheeler has extensive experience in buying and selling businesses, raising debt and equity capital, building financial departments, and structuring complex transactions. Mr. Wheeler has an MBA and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Colorado.

James N. Harger, Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, assisted in the launch of the NGV program at SoCalGas in 1992. During his tenure at SoCalGas, he developed economic models for several vehicle classes and stations. These models have been successfully leveraged by his marketing staff at Clean Energy. Mr. Harger additionally developed the industry model for several public/private partnerships, in which government funding and private industry pool their assets to develop sustainable NGV programs.

Mitchell Pratt, Senior Vice President, Engineering, Operations and Public Affairs, came to Clean Energy following his stint as the General Manager of the Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) department for the Southern California Gas Company. His 18-year career represents a diverse background of leadership roles ranging from customer satisfaction, financial and distribution operations, to public policy, and sales and market development. He has a degree in Engineering as well as an MBA.

Clay Corbus, Senior Vice President, Strategic Development, helps develop strategic growth opportunities, acquisitions and financing strategies for Clean Energy. He was Co-CEO of WR Hambrecht + Co, which managed Clean Energy’s 2007 initial public offering (IPO). Previously, he worked with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette from 1989. He graduated from Dartmouth College with an AB in Government and has an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School. Corbus serves as a director of Alaska Energy and Resources Co., Overstock.com and Goodwill of San Francisco.

John C. Crouch, Senior Vice President, Sales comes to Clean Energy with 25 years experience leading high-growth sales organizations in the enterprise software industry, including executive roles in four Initial Public Offerings. Mr. Crouch most recently served as SVP Worldwide Sales at DemandTec, from 2003 to 2008. From 1999 to 2003 he was General Manager and VP of European Operations at Blue Martini Software, based in London. Interestingly, Mr. Crouch was the first Vice President of Program Sales at Mesa Environmental from 1992 to 1994. While there he closed the industry’s first commercial NGV fleet fueling agreements and built what were then the largest public CNG fueling stations in the world — some of which are part of the Clean Energy station network today. Mr. Crouch holds a B.S. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Harrison Clay, Vice President, Renewable Fuels and General Counsel at Clean Energy, also serves on the Board of Managers for Dallas Clean Energy, Clean Energy’s landfill gas processing joint-venture. Prior to joining Clean Energy, Mr. Clay served as Director of Corporate Development and General Counsel at the San Francisco investment bank WR Hambrecht + Co. Mr. Clay has extensive experience in securities offerings, mergers & acquisitions, corporate development, venture capital and the clean tech and energy industries. Mr. Clay has a JD from the University of Virginia and a dual AB in Anthropology and English from the University of Georgia.

James L. Hooley, Vice President, Federal Government Relations, manages Clean Energy's Washington DC office, seeking to enhance Clean Energy's and the NGV industry’s efforts there. Hooley was Vice President, Government Relations, Global Public Sector for Unisys Corporation. Earlier in his career, he served as a member of President Ronald Reagan’s Senior White House Staff with the rank of Assistant to the President, as well as as senior political advisor and events specialist for President and George H.W. Bush and Senator Robert Dole.

Peter Grace, Vice President, Leasing and Finance, has held several executive posts in the equipment leasing and finance industry over the past 13 years. He has extensive expertise in structuring sound financial transactions for government and private industry. In addition, Mr. Grace has several years of hands-on production experience in the natural gas industry. At Clean Energy, he provides turnkey financial solutions to help governmental and private fleet operators take full advantage of natural gas vehicle technology.

Raymond P.  Burke, Vice President, Business Development (Refuse) A 30-year refuse sector veteran, Mr. Burke focuses on developing new strategic growth opportunities for Clean Energy in the solid waste industry. He leads outreach efforts aimed at educating waste industry leaders on the benefits of using clean-burning natural gas fuel for their trash collection fleets. Most recently, Mr. Burke served as Southern California Area Vice President for Waste Management, one of America’s largest refuse companies.  He began his career at a 50-route disposal company where he held operational posts leading up to General Manager. Mr. Burke earned an MBA degree from Chapman University, Orange, CA.

Daniel G. Huberty, Vice President, Business Development (Taxi/Airports/Shuttle). Mr. Huberty joins Clean Energy after 16 years at Ampco System Parking, one of the largest publically-held parking companies in the United States. Mr. Huberty served most recently as Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Relations for all of Ampco System Parking and formerly served as Regional Vice President of the South Central Region from 2000-2007. Mr. Huberty has extensive experience operating large fleets of vehicles, as he oversaw all Airport operations nationally. Mr. Huberty serves as President of the Humble Independent School District in Humble, Texas, having first been elected to the board in May 2006. Mr. Huberty received his MBA from the University of Phoenix, and his undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University.

Brian Powers, Assistant Vice President, Operations, has been involved in the natural gas business for more than 19 years. Prior to becoming Director of Operations for Clean Energy, Mr. Powers was responsible for sales, marketing, operations and maintenance of all assets of eFuels, Inc. in Canada. In 1982, he began his career with CNG Fuel Systems of Canada, a pioneer in the natural gas industry. At eFuels, Mr. Powers oversaw the successful completion of 40 stations in Canada designed to serve retail, transit and large fleet customers. Mr. Powers has served on the technical and marketing committees of the Canadian Gas Association and Canadian Standards Association. He was instrumental in the development of the initial natural gas industry standards in Canada that led to the U.S. standards. A member of the Natural Gas Vehicle Alliance, Mr. Powers currently serves on the groups’ marketing committee.

Michael Eaves, Assistant Vice President, Technology Advancement, Mr. Eaves came to Clean Energy following a five-year stint as President of the California Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition (CNGVC). At CNGVC, he led statewide advocacy programs urging wider use of natural gas vehicles (NGVs) to improve air quality, help curtail greenhouse gas emissions, and reduce California’s dependence on petroleum for vehicular transportation. Previously, he managed the NGV market development program at the Southern California Gas Company as well as the SoCalGas NGV customer services program, and a $30 million NGV research program that was instrumental in bringing many of today’s NGVs to market. Mr. Eaves has a B.S. degree in chemistry from the University of California at Davis.

Todd Campbell, Director of Public Policy, has been at the forefront of creative transportation and environmental public policy initiatives in California. As the former Policy Director for the Coalition for Clean Air, he worked tirelessly to improve atmospheric quality and alternative fuel advocacy. Mr. Campbell has also been a member of the Natural Resources Defense Council, the California Natural Gas Vehicle Partnership and co-author of Failing the Grade: How Diesel School Buses Threaten Our Children’s Health.

Denis C.K. Ding, Assistant Vice President, Engineering & Construction, has designed, engineered, installed and managed the construction of more than 50 natural gas stations in the United States, including a number of the largest capacity stations in the world. For Clean Energy, Mr. Ding oversees both existing station performance and new construction. Under his direction, Clean Energy has initiated one of the most comprehensive engineering organizations in the NGV industry. This unique maintenance program has allowed Clean Energy to build one of the cornerstones of its operation: to ensure that its stations are state-of-the-art and provide quality service.

John A. Somers, Director, Business Development (Transit) Mr. Somers directs his efforts toward the transit industry. In addition to fixed route transit operators, his business focus includes para-transit systems, and university transit operations. Mr. Somers brings to his post extensive public policy, grant-making/grant-writing, and federal government funding experience. Prior to joining Clean Energy, John was the Director of a European-based multi-national development organization. His extensive work in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union has provided John with a deep understanding of energy and energy security issues and the need to reduce America’s dependence on costly imported oil. John earned an undergraduate degree in Finance and holds a master’s degree in international public policy from The Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Somers was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) and serves as Co Vice-Chairman of APTA’s Clean Propulsion & Support Technology Committee.

Greg Roche, Director, Business Development (Trucking and Ports) Mr. Roche develops business opportunities for Clean Energy in freight transportation and goods movement at the nation’s ports, intermodal terminals, warehouses, and distribution centers. He leads a team that is helping to revolutionize trucking by transitioning from diesel to natural gas fuel. Prior to Clean Energy, he founded two software companies, worked in energy efficiency, and began his career with Southern California Edison. Mr. Roche has expertise in renewable and alternative energy, air quality, climate change, greenhouse gas reductions, and sustainability. He holds an M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from UCLA and a B.S. degree in nuclear engineering from Iowa State University.
