Clean Energy’s Zero Now program lets you lease or purchase a new heavy-duty natural gas fleet for the same price as a diesel fleet. You can choose from a variety of vehicle manufacturers as long as the trucks are equipped with the Cummins Westport ISX12N engine.
As part of the Zero Now program, Clean Energy will guarantee a fuel price on renewable natural gas (RNG) that is discounted to diesel for the term.
Clean Energy operates over 110 natural gas fueling stations that can accommodate Class 8 trucks, with over 60 located at Pilot Flying J stations to provide easy access to driver amenities and roadside services.
RNG reduces greenhouse gas emissions by at least 70% versus diesel, and in some cases by up to 500%. But we’re not stopping there. We’re committed to making our RNG fully carbon-free by 2025. That means by fueling with Clean Energy, you’ll continue to improve on your sustainability goals without changing a thing.
The 2018 ISX12N is certified by both the EPA and the California Air Resources Board to meet the lowest nitrogen oxide (NOx) emission standards, emitting 90% fewer pollutants than diesel engines. In fact, when paired with RNG, the engine tests as low as 0.01 g NOx/bhp-hr., achieving virtually zero tailpipe emissions.
The Zero Now program also offers a five year warranty on the Cummins ISX12N engine. With 400 hp / 1,450 lb-ft torque, the ISX12N engine is well suited for heavy-duty regional-haul trucks and tractors.
Our team of grant specialists will work with you to identify and apply for any grant programs available to make the switch to RNG even more affordable.
The elimination of a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) means a simpler engine with less maintenance required.
Quieter and Odorless
The complete replacement of petroleum fuel and elimination of diesel particulate matter makes for a quieter and odorless ride.
Our Zero Now program is designed to get you into a new RNG-fueled fleet. But we also want to make sure you’re fully set up to succeed. Our full-service team is ready to guide you through all aspects of the transition to RNG:
We've partnered with the Natural Gas Vehicle Institute to develop a comprehensive training platform for fleet managers, supervisors and technicians. Our team will coordinate the details of the vehicle launch and serve as an ongoing resources throughout the year.
Financing & Grants
We’ll work side-by-side with you to determine the best financing, leasing, budget and payment plan that is realistic for your business. Our dedicated grants team will aid you in identifying and applying for potential grants.
Depending on your fueling needs, it may be beneficial to build your own station. We offer complete station integration services to design, construct, and commission your fueling stations and facilities.
Clean Energy can also modify your existing maintenance and parking facilities to provide scalable solutions that will protect both your investment and your employees.
