Clean Energy Through the Years
Clean Energy’s growth over the decades has been marked with risk and reward, and always defined by passion. The late entrepreneur and energy pioneer T. What advice would you give a job seeker who’s thinking about applying for a job with us?
This job is what you make it. If you start at Clean Energy with a good attitude and willingness to learn and participate, you can have a solid career with great opportunities. Clean Energy offers great training for the equipment that we technicians work on daily. I started May 2016 as a Technician Apprentice and by February 2019 I became a Technician II thanks to the training and opportunities Clean Energy management allowed me.

When you tell people about your job, what’s one thing that surprises them, or gets them excited about the work you do?
That the gas we use to fuel fleets comes from landfills, dairy farms, wastewater treatment facilities, or in the simplest form, the very gas in the pipeline connected to their house. It’s sometimes hard for them to believe that the food cooked using natural gas on the stovetop is also powering the trash truck collecting garbage in front of their house.
